My Background
I’ve been an avid people-watcher my whole life. Watching those around me struggle made me long to find answers to the “whys” of emotional pain and the “hows” to catalyze healing.
I’ve worked with individuals and families touched by anxiety, trauma, stress and overwhelm for more than a decade.
A few years ago, I decided to move from paraprofessional helping to clinical social work so I could help more people, like you, begin the path to healing from past painful learning and to make steps toward intentional living based upon your values and goals.
My Approach & Philosophy
I’m a collaborator and love to teach clients the skills they need to move toward the life they dream of. I am trained in several modalities, including:
- Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT)
- Inference-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (ICBT) for OCD and hoarding
- Exposure therapies (prolonged exposure and ERP)
- Forward-Facing Trauma Therapy (great for those cumulative little "t" traumas!)
